Frankie and Johnny

More from the Lockland Fiesta. Wish I'd started recording sooner...I missed the first verse. My apologies for the video quality--this was shot with my still camera in video mode, which isn't that bad in the original first generation, but youtube compresses the ying-yang out of it. The wind noise is also a problem for the little built-in microphone, but otherwise I think the guys sound darn good, jamming on something they never played before.

The Lady is a Tramp

Just a little taste of the Nashville Ukulele Society in action (or some of us) performing at the Lockland Elementary Fiesta. The weather was beautiful, and although we were the best kept secret there (we were a little off of the beaten path), it was still a fun day and I'm looking forward to coming back next year.

UkuleleBrit

Go figure those logarithms these sites use to "figure you out". Youtube suggested this to me as a video I might be interested in. It was right. (like I needed another ukulele phenom to make me feel bad about my own playing.)

This is Brittni Paiva, from Hilo, Hawaii. Although, Over The Rainbow belongs to the incomparable Iz, (sorry Judy Garland) this version is a different approach and so nicely done that you might find you can't live without both versions.

Check out her other videos, too. I've been impressed with everything so far.
